Vanguard Instruments AUTO-Ohm Digital MicroOhm Meter Series 2 NIST Calibrated
The Vanguard Instruments AUTO-Ohm Series 2 is a portable, microprocessor-controlled true DC digital micro-ohmmeter designed for accurately measuring very low resistance values. It is commonly used for testing circuit breaker contact resistance, busbar joints, switchgear, transformer connections, welds, and other low-resistance electrical connections. The instrument uses a four-wire Kelvin measurement method with selectable high-current DC output to provide precise, repeatable measurements while minimizing errors caused by test lead resistance. Its rugged, field-portable design, automatic test functions, and intuitive one-knob operation make it well suited for both laboratory and field maintenance applications.
