ASR-6000 is the first stand-alone unit from GW Instek that supports AC single/three-phase input and output, and has rated DC power output. The series employs third-generation semiconductor silicon carbide (SiC) technology to create a 4U 6kVA high power density and high-performance AC /DC power source.
ASR-6450 and ASR-6600 stand-alone models were launched on February 6, 2024. When it is necessary to test higher capacity DUTs, the ASR-6000 series standalone units can collocate with an optional ASR- 006 parallel cable to connect them in parallel. There are five rack-mounted parallel models, which connect two or three units of 4.5kVA and 6kVA in a single unit in parallel to provide outputs of 9kVA, 13.5kVA, 12kVA, and 18kVA. Four 6kVA units are connected in parallel to output 24kVA.
The models are as follows:
Model | Output |
ASR-6450-09 | 9kVA |
ASR-6450-13.5 | 13.5kVA |
ASR-6600-12 | 12kVA |
ASR-6600-18 | 18kVA |
ASR-6000-24 | 24kVA |
The application of artificial intelligence is booming, and computing power must be supported by electricity. The specification of a single server power module is 3kW, and a shelf has 6 modules totaling 18kW. The rack-mounted parallel model meets this demand. The following are the differences between standalone, stand-alone parallel and rack-mounted parallel models.
