The Multi-Amp TR700 (Cat. No. 820110) is a portable transformer turns-ratio tester (TTR) designed for accurately measuring the ratio of power transformers, current transformers (CTs), voltage transformers (VTs), regulators, and other AC ratio devices. It uses a transformer ratio-arm bridge with a phase-sensitive null detector to determine ratio, ratio deviation, and polarity. The instrument is commonly used in transformer commissioning, maintenance, and condition assessment to verify winding integrity and identify potential faults.
