Rotek MSB100 Power & Energy Standard Phase Reference Meter NIST Calibrated
The Rotek MSB100 is a primary watt / watt-hour standard (i.e. a power/energy reference) used to provide traceability to national standards when calibrating power and energy measurement devices. EE Times It is commonly used together with instruments like the Rotek 8100 to perform high-accuracy calibrations.
Ideally suited for use as a primary watt/watt-hour reference meter, the Model MSB100 has four voltage input ranges, from 120 to 640 VAC, and five current input ranges, from 50 mA to 5 A, with optional current ranges of 10, 50, and 200 A. Its accuracy of 0.005% for power and 0.015% for energy is maintained regardless of phase angle, greatly simplifying power measurements at near-zero power factor.
The Model MSB100's digital I/O connector allows direct connection to watt-hour meters equipped with a pulse output. Meter outputs can be compared using the Model MSB100's built-in comparator. No additional test equipment, computers, or complicated test setups are required to calibrate the meters.
