    The new measuring system type 2877 is designed for determining the capacitance and dielectric dissipation factor of liquid and solid insulants, cables, capacitors, line transformers, generators, motors,
    bushings etc.

    Furthermore it can also be used for power loss measurement on shunt reactors or similar apparatuses. This system is suitable for both low and high voltage measurements at line frequency. Fully automatic balancing of the bridge section is achieved by microcomputer and the measurement value is displayed on the LCD (liquid crystal display) which is built into the front panel.

    Operation is achieved with maximum userfriendliness, thanks to simple screen menus and on-line help, via the scratch resistent front panel.
