Megger DET 2/2 Auto Earth Tester Resistance Meter NIST Calibrated
The Megger DET2/2 Auto Earth Tester is a portable, high-accuracy instrument designed to measure earth (ground) resistance and soil resistivity for electrical systems. It uses a four-terminal (4-pole) testing method to eliminate measurement errors and ensure reliable results, even in challenging or high-noise environments.
Built for field use, it features a rugged, weather-resistant design (IP54), a large LCD display, and microprocessor-controlled operation with adjustable test frequency and filtering. This makes it ideal for testing large or complex grounding systems such as substations, industrial facilities, and utility installations.
Measurement
- Resistance range: 0.010 Ω to 19.99 kΩ (auto-ranging)
- Resolution: 0.001 Ω (1 mΩ)
- Accuracy: ±0.5% of reading ±2 digits
- Service error: ±5% of reading ±2 digits ±10 mΩ
Test Parameters
- Test frequency: 105–160 Hz (adjustable in 0.5 Hz steps)
- Test current: Up to 50 mA (selectable)
- Max output voltage: < 50 V RMS
- Interference tolerance: ~40 V peak-to-peak
