The Sonel MIC-2511 is an insulation resistance meter used to measure the insulation resistance up to 2 TΩ using test voltage up to 2500V. It is equipped with numerous functions hidden in a neat and handy physical form. The robust casing provides IP65 rated protection. This insulation resistance meter is a device with a wide range of applications. It can be used in both the residential construction industry and for inspecting industrial systems or traction networks.

Due to its characteristics – excellent performance, low power consumption from batteries, the option of charging during measurements, convenience of use and a high ingress protection level – it is often used by electricians working in maintenance teams, testing motors, cables, street lighting or the construction and maintenance of photovoltaic systems. The device meets the needs of installers of telecommunications networks and operators of district heating networks, where the inspection of alarm system on insulated pipes is necessary.

The MIC-2511 allows users to measure the continuity of protective conductors and equipotential bonding with current exceeding 200mA in both directions. The meter has a built-in voltmeter of AC and DC voltages in the range of up to 1500V.

Extensive memory capacity of up to 10,000 measurements allows the device to record and send to a computer. Measurement data can be transferred via USB. The free Sonel Reader software allows you to save the downloaded data to the simplest formats and print. For report generation, use the optional Sonel Reports Plus software (sold separately).

Built-in Help System

The MIC-2511 is equipped with built-in help screens with measurement diagrams. This feature allows you to easily and quickly check how to connect to a given system depending on the type of performed measurement.
