The FLD 1T transformer oil meter is engineered to determine the mass fraction of dissolved moisture in insulating mineral oils with a kinematic viscosity of up to 70 cSt at 50°C.
When using the unit, it is important to keep in mind that FLD 1T provides a rapid indicative measurement of moisture content. For definitive, certified results, a full laboratory analysis is still required.
Conventional laboratory testing typically takes at least one day and demands considerable labor and financial resources. FLD 1T enables immediate assessment of transformer oil condition directly on site, allowing operators to make prompt, informed decisions near the transformer without delays.
The device integrates all components necessary for straightforward and user-friendly operation, including:
  • an LCD display that shows the measured moisture content;
  • an intake chamber for collecting the oil sample;
  • a moisture sensor that determines the mass fraction of water in lubricating and insulating oils;
  • a built-in printer for generating hard-copy test reports.
