BNC's Model 588 offers an innovative approach to high-quality timing and synchronizing systems. Giving users 8 channels of precision timing in a package designed for remote applications and large system gating/synchronizing.

 

Our precision clock and many channel features compliment the low-profile packaging to give system integrators a refined rack-mount alternative to multiple boxes and cables cobbled together around a test setup.

 

The Model 588 can accept a low amplitude clock frequency down to 20 mV, up to 100 MHz. This offers the ability to phase-lock directly to a laser photodiode signal, providing system timing synchronicity with the laser with very low jitter (< 50 ps). The 588 offers TCP/IP communication methods for SCPI commands. Complimentary NI certified LabVIEW drivers available.

    CHANNEL MODES APPLICATIONS

    Independent Channel Enable/Disable Delayed Channel Enable – allows flashlamp/diodes to be fired, stabilizing the laser before the Qswitch or shutter is enabled.

    Single shot or Burst mode laser pulse bursts, controlling either just to Qswitch or entire laser. Duty Cycle mode allows firing laser at an optimal rate, but picking pulses out at the user required rate. Output Multiplexer allows any combination of channels to be output on any of the output ports, providing very complex pulse trains.
